Things that happened in the past belong there. I used to dwell a lot on things that I didn’t have any control over – events that had already passed and actions that you can’t take back. As I’ve gotten more experience in things that cause pain or evoke an emotional reaction, I’ve begun to come to terms with my past and live in the present. Things happen for a reason. They either make you happy or they make you learn and it’s a win in either situation. It’s all water under the bridge. Once it’s done and gone, leave it alone and wait for the next stream to pass.
